pin up contest

Hey everyone-

I have been neglecting this blog since school was taking over all summer and writing for another blog. I hope you enjoy these pics from the pin up contest I was in on Saturday. It was so much fun and I ended up winning 2nd place! Such a surprise and was not expecting that after it only being my second pin up contest :)

Hi everyone-

Wow... it has been a while haha but this past weekend was Beatnik Blowout Car Show and Pin Up Contest in Ventura. It was my first contest and was super fun. I was so nervous, I was like shaking on stage. Here's some preview pix from the show. Hope you enjoy and I'll be sure to post more things in the next few weeks :)

art show tonight!

Tonight, from 7-9 I am going to be in a show with a few fellow young artists and I am so excited!!! It will be my first time showing art work not through school. Woot woot!

getting stuff together....

new piece

Today, I finally finished the piece I started a couple weeks ago. I am so happy with the outcome and cannot wait to include it in the art show next Saturday. I'm starting another canvas with a similar style. Hopefully it comes out well :) It is India Ink with acrylic ink.

black lips: live at velvet jones!

This past Friday was the incredible Black Lips show at Velvet Jones. I saw them in Hollywood a few years ago and I thought that was amazing, but the show on Friday beats it by far. My friends and I were right up in the front and dancing and singing like crazy. They got the whole crowd involved and everyone was having a great time. They played all my favorite songs including "Oh Katrina!" and "Dirty Hands."
