So I found out I got the art scholarship as well as another scholarship so I am extremely excited to start making some art in the next few weeks/months. I have been looking up inspiring street art and graphic design work to try to get me back into doing art outside of class.

One street artist I really like is 6pack and he is from Paris. He has had work show up all over Europe and some parts of L.A. I love his unique style and his use of funky characters and spin on everyday objects, such as the bicycle shown below.

This is one of my favorite pieces.

This is done by a street artist in San Francisco (where I lived in Fall 2010). San Francisco has some amazing graffiti and stencil art on everything, from the sidewalk to side of a building, to cars. I love when street art can be more then just writing a name or quote, but real art. The second and third pictures remind of me of some futuristic apocalyptic bacteria taking over. Haha, kinda random but that's what I like.
